Really easy to use

To avoid overloading the Internet network at school, the teacher shares files with students locally and without configuring anything. The student sends files to the teacher with a single click and vice versa. The teacher can see thumbnails images of the screens of all students in real time, thus reducing possible distractions in the classroom. It can be used to pause students’ screens and chat with them. It is designed to control any group of Chromebooks in the school from a Windows® computer, or with a smartphone through the midess® Smart Control application.

Now it is really easy to get control of the classroom!

Internet filter

This feature is entirely optional and may be activated or deactivated at any time from the MDM control panel or from the teacher’s classroom control.

The filter can be personalised by the IT administrator to block an address or a word, or, on the contrary, can be used to permanently give access to which have been established as favourites, independently of their content. It can also be used to block applications.

MDM – Mobile Device Management

The system is managed remotely using a control panel via a web application. It is synchronized at all times with the G Suite Admin console of your school.

You can configure Internet filter, wifi networks and groups of students and teachers in a simple way. You can define all these variables and send them to all Chromebooks – the classroom management software up and running perfectly in a few seconds

On Wi-Fi

Thanks to this new feature, it is possible to force the students’ devices to connect to a wifi network set in the MDM. This allows an overall stability during the classroom management session and no need further settings to be done by the student or the teacher.

Can be installed on Intel CAP

This access point, together with our software, allows the teacher to manage all the devices in the classroom, even without an Internet connection. The device also has a battery giving several hours of autonomy, providing a real Mobile digital classroom experience!

MDM - Mobile Device Management

Internet Filter

Protects students in any situation and in any moment of the day. Allows the educational institution to choose the webpages, words or phrases to be blocked. An essential tool to fight against cyberbullying. The filter can be managed and modified easily via the MDM. Some centres already have hardware based content filters, in these cases the filter can easily be turned off to avoid filter conflicts.

Classroom Management

Installed on the teachers’ Windows computer, this is an extremely useful tool (with no limits of client users). Teachers can deactivate Internet, shutdown the devices, pause them and lots more. An intuitive tool for the teacher regardless of the digital dexterity. Includes the ability to exchange archives without an Internet connection.

Student Classroom Management

Included in midess®, is the best tool for sending and receiving archives during the class. An Internet connection isn’t needed. Students can send and receive archives regardless of the format. Students have a bookmark bar which gives easy access to certain content. Students don’t decide whether or not to connect to the session, that privilege resides with the teacher.

Geolocalizer

Locating devices, via IP and GPS, in case of a lost a device or a stolen device. It also includes remote blocking of devices. This function is available via the MDM and can only be managed by the ICT coordinator
